Every now and then some one comes up with a great article that just makes sence and you wonder why you did not write it. well the article on vector working by Neil Barman is a case in kind, It's not a long article, but it makes sence.
As Neil says, it was spurred on by Jon Pickups recent article on the subject, and his video, on a same vain, although you might have to be a Archoncad learn member to see the video, I have just watched it again and as always Jon has some good points to make.
I tend to work in the same manor, with a default file with a min of stuff I like to use a lot, together with a library of hatches and symbols I like to keep handy, I use a Steve bits library file to keep a lot of other symbols and stuff out of my main template but easily accessible.
For specific work, I keep a file with a custom menu and add in modules, I don”t always want them so it's good to keep them in a separate file.
